ATTENTION FURLOUGHED FEDERAL EMPLOYEES: Due to the ongoing shutdown of the federal government, RREC is offering payment extensions to help you during this very difficult time.

If you are a furloughed federal employee and are not able to pay your electric bill when it becomes due, please contact our office BEFORE your disconnect date and request a payment extension. Extensions are considered on a case-by-case basis.  To qualify, you must provide proof of federal employment. If you are still not able to pay by the agreed upon extension date, you must contact the RREC office and request an additional extension prior to your original agreement date, which will, again, be considered on a case-by-case basis.

To request an extension, or to make payment arrangements, you must call the RREC office during regular business hours, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. The office can be reached at 800-342-7732. Please keep in mind that payment arrangements cannot be made after hours.
