Show Your Cooperative Spirit and Win a $2,000 Education Grant
Raft River Electric’s board of directors believe that one of the best investments a community can make is in education. Raft River Electric is pleased to offer education grants to graduating high school seniors or equivalent graduating home-school students living at the residence of their parents or legal guardians who are active members of the Cooperative. The education grants may be used for tuition, books, and expenses at any accredited university, college, junior college, and technical or trade school.

Selection
Four education grants, of $2,000 each, were awarded at the Raft River Electric Annual Meeting on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, via a lottery-type drawing, as there are no scholastic requirements. The students did not have to be present to win.
Applications
The application window for the 2023 education grants is now closed.
Notification
Education grant recipients will be notified in writing. Upon proof of enrollment at an accredited school, the Cooperative will disburse the funds directly to the educational institution.
